What is APPCHAT? We know that applying to college can be an overwhelming process to go through, especially if you feel like you don’t know what to do. We also know that this year’s college application process is particularly difficult because you can’t easily access your support system at Summer Search and at your schools right now.

APPCHAT is a webinar series where we’ll complete college and financial aid applications LIVE. We invite you to join APPCHAT and complete your application with us! If you become stuck on any part of your application during the webinar, you can ask for support and get an answer in real time!

If you’re unable attend the event, it’s okay! Set up an appointment with Nancy or Julian to work on your application!

Register your CUNY App Account in 5 Steps

1. Visit CUNY application for future students

2. Under “I’d like to apply as:” choose “Freshman Applicant”

3. Under “Select application:” choose “Freshman Application” (if you’re applying to the Macaulay Honors Program, choose that application instead! This webinar will not go over the Macaulay Honors application. If you need support with the Macaualy Honors application, make an appointment with your Summer Search Post-Secondary counselor (Nancy or Julian)!

4. Click “Register Now” and complete the short account registeration form.

5. Write down your CUNY username and password! You can use Dashlane to store up to 50 passwords on one device for free!
